When I had some old school friends visiting for the weekend, a Pod Chocolate Experience seemed an ideal activity for the three of us. We chose to do a slab decorating session and additionally a truffle making session. Sophia came to my house and set everything up. She was very knowledgeable about all aspects of chocolate and we had a relaxed, fun yet educational evening which we all enjoyed immensely. And the bonus was we all got to eat or gift our creations.   • "We first discovered Pod Chocolate Experiences at a Wedding Fair at The Bear hotel and I'm so pleased we did! Sophia sent over some amazing ideas for our Autumnal wedding and we decided to go with dark chocolate orange leaves wrapped in gold and brown foils, with some beautifully designed name tags. We also ordered some additional boxes of Salted Caramel bon bons for our bridesmaids and our absolute favourite were the cake toppers: two strawberries decorated as a bride and groom! Sophia was extremely helpful and her creations not only taste amazing but look beautiful. We would highly recommend for any occasion and we will certainly be returning customers!"

  • "Sophia gave us a wonderful and informative Chocolate Experience. My friend and I enjoyed a 2hr chocolate extravaganza where we learned all about the different flavours of chocolate. We also acquired a new skill – dressing up an ordinary strawberry into a black tie ready to party strawberry. Prior to the experience we were probably just another pair of chocolate-guzzling consumers with no real appreciation of what we were eating! However, at the end of the 2hrs we had become chocolate connoisseurs(!) – able to begin to identify and distinguish some of the chocolates. Who knew that the flavours would change depending on where the chocolate had come from! A fantastic experience delivered with warmth, patience and an obvious passion for her subject."

  • "Sophia sent me some sample chocolate orange sticks and if I am honest, I was not over excited at the prospect as I don’t particularly care for Terry’s Chocolate Orange, and thought it was a combination that wouldn’t appeal to me. Well, I was wrong! These are sensational, not at all bitter, but not too sweet – in truth they are masterpieces of flavour pairing. I have since sent various combinations of Sophia’s chocolates to 6 lots of family / friends, and what joy they have brought. Without exception everyone has been blown away. These are very very special chocolates made by someone with exceptional taste and talent. Go, Sophia!"

  • "I commissioned a bespoke set of chocolate bars for my dad's 70th birthday, with just an outline idea of bicycles as my dad is a cycling enthusiast. Sophia promptly turned that into a creative set of bars with a blend of colours and flavours based around dark chocolate, which is his favourite. The bars were beautifully finished, arrived promptly and had a birthday message written on the back. My dad was thrilled with them and loved the different flavours. Sophia's creativity and attention to detail is impeccable, perfect for a special treat."

  • Finishing Touches chocolate experience. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Chocolate, friends, prosecco and the talented and friendly Sophia sharing her knowledge and guiding us through so many techniques. Sophia arrived fully prepared with all of the equipment needed and a lovely array of decorating materials for us to experiment with. This experience was such fun and so much more than we anticipated, both in the techniques covered, knowledge shared, and samples produced. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
